Funny Farm
The Funny Farm is a youth hostel located on the Mattenhof Resort grounds. Low-budget travellers and international backpackers annually travel from all corners of the globe to Interlaken in hopes of acquainting themselves with numerous adrenaline kicks in the mecca of adventure sports and activities. For this sole purpose, many travellers are willing to forego luxurious rooms and spend their cash on adventure sports and activities instead. The Funny Farm offers a few accommodation options suited for every type of low-budget traveller. For hard core penny pinchers, inexpensive and simple dormitory style rooms furnished with bunk beds are available. For those who require a bit more comfort, book a dorm style room with bunk beds in the front part of our hotel. Due to its young, friendly and energetic staff, together with its prime location and infrastructure, the Funny Farm is a backpacker’s haven and considered to be one of the best known places to stay within the international backpacking scene.
